Call for Tutorials

The ECCE Organizing Committee strives to offer a tutorial program that will appeal to a broad attendance, depending upon their experience, discipline and responsibilities. The tutorial program is intended to provide all attendees with an opportunity to expand their ECCE Conference experience, providing even more value as a result of their participation. Tutorials are designed to enhance the education of the professional working in the field of electrical power conversion. Both experienced and new to the profession engineers can benefit from the tutorials, either by updating or renewing their knowledge base or by accelerating their learning process on new topics. Each tutorial combines theory with practical applications, can range from broad to narrow in scope, and can vary from introductory to advanced in technical level. Any individual, group or company that is interested in presenting a tutorial on a technical subject is encouraged to fill out the form below and submit it to the Tutorial Chair by February 15th.

Procedure and important notices

  • A tutorial sub-committee will review the tutorial proposals. Tutorials will be selected based on high quality and an effort to provide a balanced tutorial program, consistent with the topics covered by the ECCE Conference. This means that that some very good seminar proposals may be declined.
  • Compensation for tutorial speakers includes an honorarium of US$1500.00 and a complimentary tutorial and conference registration. In the case of multiple speakers for one tutorial, the honorarium and complimentary registration must be shared among the speakers. Tutorial speakers are responsible for their own expenses of preparing and presenting the seminar, including all travel, lodging, and meals.
